Climate change is real, and its impacts are beginning to be felt worldwide. Regardless of what agreements are made between nations, the reality of what has already been set in motion due to industrial activity and subsequent carbon emissions over the last few centuries is beginning to manifest. Rapid decline of sea ice, sea level rise, heat waves, severe and erratic weather patterns, crop failure.... all happening with increasing frequency. Will clean energy save us from abrupt climate change? Or has the damage already been done, so to speak?
I speak with Joshua Graff, a student of Engineering and Sustainable Water Infrastructure, about these issues and more.
